Our design wing is made up of a highly experienced team of partners lead by David Barfield. Our aim at Southwest Log Homes is to understand our clients's vision and assist them in making it a reality. After a preliminary meeting and feasibility assessment, our team will begin to work with you closely to develop your plans.

Visiting your property and getting a feel for the land and natural surroundings is the first step. Conceptual drawings are then developed in tandem with log or timber frame 3D models to create a visual representation. Throughout the process, we will work closely with you to meet your budget expectations as your design evolves. Our in-house soils and structural engineer works with the design team during every step of the drafting process. The final building plans we create for you include an interactive 3D walk-through giving you a valuable virtual perspective of the project.
